# Privacy Policy — Law Code App

Law Code ("the App") is a Thai legal reference application developed by Miptai. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data when you use the App.

## 1. Data We Collect

### Data Stored Locally On Your Device Only
The following data is created by you, stored only on your device, and is never transmitted to us or any third party:

- **Bookmarks** — sections you have saved
- **Personal notes** — text notes written on individual sections
- **Text highlights** — highlighted passages and colors
- **Reading history** — recently viewed sections
- **App settings** — font size, dark/light mode preferences

We have no access to any of this data.

### Data Collected by Third-Party SDKs

#### Google AdMob (Free users only)
To display advertisements, the App integrates Google AdMob. AdMob **collects and transmits** the following data off your device:

| **App interaction data** (ad views, clicks, impressions) | Ad performance measurement, fraud prevention |

This data is **required** for ad delivery and cannot be disabled while using the free version of the App. This data is **shared with Google LLC** under [Google's Privacy Policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy).

To opt out of personalized ads, you can reset or disable your Advertising ID in your device settings:  
*Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID*

#### Google Play Billing
In-app purchases (Pro upgrade) are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment information. See [Google Play's Terms of Service](https://play.google.com/about/play-terms/).

## 2. Data Sharing

We **do not sell or trade** your data.

Data is shared **only with the following service providers**, strictly for the purposes described above:

No other data is shared with any third party.

## 3. Data Security

- All data transmitted off your device (via AdMob) is **encrypted in transit** using HTTPS/TLS
- Local data (notes, bookmarks, highlights) never leaves your device
- We do not operate servers that store your personal data

## 4. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.

## 5. Your Rights

- **Access/Delete local data:** Uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data
- **Opt out of ad personalization:** Disable Advertising ID in your device settings
- **Pro users:** Upgrading to Pro removes all advertisements and AdMob data collection

## 6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
